"Is it too late to apply for DACA?"

The short answer is "yes". The Trump administration effectively cancelled the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, also known as DACA, and referred the policy enacted under President Obama to the Congress for further action. Saving DACA is now in the hands of the Congress and several proposals to make the provisions of the "Dream Act"  permanent have already been circulating in both the House of Representatives and the Senate. 

For those that currently have DACA status, there is good news. According to this article in the Washington Times, the Department of Homeland Security will not target individuals with DACA status.

“We’re not going to proactively go after individuals whose DACA expires if they’re an enforcement priority...we’re not all of a sudden saying OK, [someone’s] DACA is expiring so let’s go find him and send him home,” said DHS spokesman David Lapan said.
